I don't keep Pepto or anything with me at work... but I've got this bad stomach ache and I keep on bloating up. I'm sure it was something I ate at lunch. Any suggestions?

Before you scoff at this try it. Extra Winterfresh Gum (dark blue package). It has just the right amount of peppermint in it to help sooth your upset stomach. Old home remedies for babies with stomach upset was to give them a tiny-tiny bit of peppermint oil, the gum works in the same fashion. If you can't find the Winterfresh the next option is Extra peppermint gum (lite blue package). And no, I do not work for the company that makes this gum I just have a sensitive stomach and know this works.

Drinking a Vernors or Canada Dry gingerale should do the trick. Give it a try next time you experience a stomach ache.

First question - does this happen a lot? It so, you probably should think about having yourself checked out. 2) Make sure you have something for indigestion at work...or ask someone, usually others may have something you can take - or if all esle fails - drink some clear soda with fizz - such as ginger ale.

Get some Gingerale and stir it to flatten it a bit, then sip with straw.
