You are not strange at all. I am cautious about showing my feelings as well. I can do and say all the right things and be cool with things being that way. I don't use the 4 letter word or play with it power lightly. Many people confuse love for infatuation.

I think you are smart to fear love since it is probrably the most powerful concept you can have. You cant see it, hear it, smell it, taste it, and barely descibe it, but you know its there.

Not strange at all, just carfeful and you should be.

No, absolutely not. Most of my answers are sarcastic in nature, but I am deadly serious here. Although I've gone out with a number of women, I have only been in love once in my life and never told her. She was engaged at the time and is now married, but truthfully, I do not think this is the reason I held back... and have continued to do so for the last 14 years. Most people associate love with 'being together', but I know for a fact that my lifestyle would not match hers and so 'out of love' have kept quiet. Because I love her, I would not wish to bring any pain into her life and therefore my distance is kept.

Well it depends, ya you can love somebody and not show it but if you really fall "in love" with somebody it would be really hard not to show it because once you're in love with somebody that person is on your mind all day every day and your life doesnt feel complete without them. The more you try to ignore it the more unhappy you'd get. Theres a big difference between loving somebody and being in love with them. If you're in love with somebody its not something you can ignore and not show...ive tried, it doesnt work at all..all it did was make me miserable and plus if you ignore it too long they will find somebody else and you wont have the chance again.

What's the fun of being in love if you can't show it?

I'm scared of opening up too, it's hard for me, because I worry that the person is going to leave once I make myself vulnerable.

You have to let it all go. You have to give into it. Be true to yourself and your heart. It's really the only way you're ever going to be happy.

That is strange...
But then again that's not love because love needs to be mutual.... You have to actually put forth the effrort of expressing your love and they must accept it from you.... otherwise you will just be depressed and have bottled up emotions...

Love isn't for you
Love is for the people you feel the emotion for
share it with them
or lose the lie

I have to not show it
I have a condition where I actually fall in love with multiple people at one time
so I have to hide it all the time
it is a tough condition to actually have......for real...

thank you

good luck
smile
and
God Bless

no and it's a good thing.. not every person needs to see it and some guys end up being complete losers.. I agree with and think it's best to cover your heart from possible damage that doesn't need to be there :) :) :)

nope, definately not the only one... usually it's more common amongst people that have been hurt pretty bad in the past, or it might even have something to do with your upbringing... it's the whole feeling of leaving yourself vulnerable that causes you not to act or show your true colors...
