What do you think when you see a black girl,with permed hair?
what do you think?i regret perming my hair :(
i hear all these stereotypes about blacks,and now i feel bad,i want my natural hair back.
my hair was very thick,and i have a lot of it,then i permed it,and its still thick and i still have a lot of it,but the quality is different.Some people even think i'm half white,or indian. They say,she has white people hair.
I don't like my hair but everyone else does,what do you think
?

Permed as in curly, or as in straight? It sounds to me like you are the one that likes it, but you are letting these others get u down about it making you look "white", or "indian". If you like it, keep it like that, if not, then don't. Just make sure it's you making the decision and not other people............

Your hair sounds like mine. I don't get perms, but I press my hair and I get the same response about that being mixed thing. But I actually like my hair although black people are more prone to asking me I'm a mixed because my hair is not nappy. It used to make me mad when people ask me do I have tracks but now its a joke. All I can say is if you like it like that keep it, if you don't let the perm wear off. I really don't know much about getting your hair permed because my hair looks like that naturally.

ignore what everyone esle said. If you like your hair and people around you tell you it looks nice then be happy that they said that. You obviously permed your hair because you like permed hair, so thats fine. Natural suits everyone best but a change wont do any harm. You probably dont like it at the minute because its a big change ( did you have afro before?) A lot of people want a change so they dye their hair / cut it / change the style, you have done that too so its pretty normal. I'm sure it looks lovely. be happy! =)

When I see a Sista with relax hair, I think there goes a woman that was tired of pressing their hair. That's the reason why I started relaxing my hair. I was tired of adding heat to my hair more than twice a week. I prefer relax hair and I have been relaxing my hair over five years now.

i know a black girl permed hair if it's straight
a black girl's natural hair is never straight
plus if it shiny and a little lumpy.
ur hair will grow back and wen it does get a short cut.
that way ur natural hair is visible

You are not thinking straight forget everyone else. When a female of color relaxes her hair it is to have better contorl of it. No to have hair as another race.
