i know that u have to eat at least 6 hours prior to bed time. i want to know why.

I've always heard that you should eat at least 2 hours before giong to bed so that you can burn off some of the calories and not let the fat store up while you sleep.

its good to eat every few hours and especially something before you go to bed. Something light like salmon, or cottage cheese.
Make sure it is mainly protein based though and you could also try some salad... fruit can be a little acidic though!

The main reason being that it keeps your blood sugar levels pretty even and can avoid the 'starvation' cycle your body goes into when it gets starved of calories.
