I am throwing a party for my friend's 21st birthday party and she doesn't drink. I was thinking about having all non-alcoholic drinks there just to make it fun and if anyone wants to add some magic to their drinks, it'll be OK. Any ideas you have will help.

I would do a punch and have some sparkling cider such as Martinelli's-grape, cranberry, apple cranberry or Ikea's Kristian
Regale Sparkling cider-peach, pear, pomgrenate, etc
Go to the frozen section at your neighborhood grocery store. There's a frozen punch mix near the icecream. Comes in green
and red. Add gingerale. If you would like to make it from scratch
heres a recipe

ORANGE GINGER ALE PUNCH

3 qts. orange sherbet
5 qts. ginger ale, chilled

Place sherbet in large chunks in punch bowl. Pour cold ginger ale over sherbet just before serving. Lime, lemon or raspberry or others may be substituted for orange. Makes 2 gallons

You could also do non-acholic drinks and put umbrellas, fruit in them-virgin daquiri's(Use frozen barcardi mixer and add gingerale
instead of rum or vodka--they make strawberry daquiri, pina colada, fuzzy navel and several other flavors. I think shirley temples w/ marschino cherries would be cute also.

Do you have access to a Magic Bullet? I got one for Christmas and it makes GREAT frozen drinks and everyone can have something different if they wanted. Or you can just make a pitcher of frozen pina colada's with lil umbrellas. Be sure to buy the bagged ice at the store- it crushes MUCH better than the ice from yer freezer. Also, bags of frozen fruit go great in pina coladas, or even margarita mixes. You can get lil umbrellas, cute stirring sticks and little straws at party supply stores for very cheap.

Have fun!!!

The best place to get a list and receipes for non alcoholic drinks is the liquor store. They have a whole section on drinks and ideas for parties and festive activities. It is supplied by the government.

A nice variety of diet and non-diet soda is fine. the games are what counts. pictionary or any kind of charades can be a blast. there are also some funny dice games that include trading clothing and kissing...
