Unless you have a chronic constipation problem, you are most likely eliminating the bulk of it regularly. It never hurts to increase the fiber in your diet to help move it along abit. Ground flax seed or oat bran are good suppliments for lower GI health.
There are people out there trying to make a living off of scaring you half to death. Take it with a grain of salt. Most of us could improve our eating habits and have better elimination but few of us really need the high colonic therapy, or the rigid fasting diets pushed by these gurus. They could even cause harm when taken to the extreme.
If you are overweight, you know where those pounds are. Probably not in your lower bowel.

Yes, you build up fecal matter in your intestines when you do not eat right. Your body does not flush it all out like it should. You can try an herbal colon cleanse or colon irrigation. Either way, it comes out the same way poop does.

the "clay like substance" is known as fecal material, and you get rid of some of it every time you have a bowel movement.

The human body always has waste; approximately 50% of the intake. The rest is burned as fuel or stored as fat for future use.
