About 7-9 weeks. Start her out with short 5-7 min walks and then work her up to whatever your normal routine is. =)

At least 8 wks but be sure she has had her shots FIRST,stray dogs carry all kinds of stuff and you don't want her to catch any of them, and that would be a good time to get her used to wearing a collar too,in fact, you can put a collar on her immediately. I would not walk her farther than a block then back, that should take about 15 min to half an hour, remember she is still a baby and they tire out easily. Then she will want to take a nap. If necessary, carry her part of the way,but make sure she walks back to where you live, that way she will learn that she has to walk back and NOT be carried. Good luck and enjoy her and the nap together when you get back. Be sure to "Reward" her with a small treat besides with words and a loving petting.

a three week previous puppy??? you may't be severe! This puppy is purely not weaned at that age. it is going to would desire to be bottle fed with a good puppy formulation a minimum of each and every 3- 4 hours to boot as being slowly presented to a tiny quantity of canines foodstuff that has been softened in puppy formulation. in lots of locations this is against the regulation to rehome a puppy under 8 weeks of age. the guy who's advertising you a three week previous puppy could be prosecuted and you've got greater experience than to handle a new child, unweaned puppy. you may't walk a three week previous puppy. do not you be attentive to something in any respect approximately canines? Neither are you able to abode prepare a three week previous puppy any further than you may lavatory a three month previous human toddler. i think of you may ignore approximately getting a puppy until you do slightly study and learn something approximately canines. you is purely not doing this puppy any favours by using taking it on. you do not be attentive to adequate to even shop a three week previous toddler puppy alive..

Yes, 8 weeks is good. The puppy will resist the leash at first, but if you are firm, it will get used to it. The puppy will probably walk for about 10-15 minutes, then collapse. Be prepared to carry it home. :)

As soon as she can walk, you can get her used to collar and leash, for a few minutes a day. Then, when she is about 8-10 weeks, you can walk her around the house, and after that, you can start walking her outside. But build up to it. Do not take her on long walks at the beginning. Maybe 10-20 minutes at first, and then build up, for longer and longer periods of time, until you have her walking for the amount of time you want to walk (should be at least 30 minutes).
Good Luck!!!

You will have to wait until she has all of her shots. She should be finished receiving all the rounds of shots around 12-16 weeks of age. If she does not have her shots and you take her for a walk, you run a very high risk of her developing a disease like parvo that may kill her.

You need to consult your vet. If your puppy is currently receiving shots, especially for Parvo, you probably don't want to walk your puppy or bring it to public places for at least five months. A puppy is not resistant to parvo until after the third round of shots, usually, usually about the fifth to sixth month.

Usually you want to wait until after her 2nd or 3rd set of puppy shots - usually after 3 months of age so that she does not get parvo or other contages diseases that can be deadly to pups. Vaccinations take about a week for the body to become immune, so wait until a week after the last shot to be sure.

You can walk her anytime. The main thing you want to be sure of is before you do is make sure she has all her shots!! Dogs can pick things up from places where other dogs have been that are sick. Ask your vet how long after the shots you should wait! Always better to be safe rather then sorry
I bet she is cute too!!!
Good Luck
