I'm going to NY from CA. Can we bring cookies on the plane? The plane food doesn't feed you very well.

You can bring your own food. Just no drinks.

I brought some breakfast on a plane before but I bought the stuff after I was checked by security.

I've heard of people bringing their own food on a plane but I'm a little hesitant to say yes. I'd say check with the airline a few days before your flight to make sure it's OK, and some airlines probably have different policies as well.

YES. Bring your own food. Not only will you have a nice meal to get you through the flight, but you will save money from having to buy that $10 sandwich!

Yes you can. I did it last week. As long as its non parishable. And you can have 2 bottles of 3oz liquids only on a carry on. Otherwise put them in a check in bag. But with all the holiday stuff going on I would check with your airline or email / telltsa@dhs.gov . I got an answer pretty quick.

Yes-- thats one thing they havnt taken away from us yet. The only thing you cant do is bring your own alcohol on board to drink.

Just be carefully not to bring anything to pungent as you will get dirty looks form other passengers if you break out the aged cheese.

Yep. On my recent trip from the US to Asia, I did that over 10 times.

But no drinks (liquids are restricted on airlines now).

Yes, you can bring cookies as long as they do not have a liquid or jell filling.

Yes you can. Drinks might be a problem with the new rules though.
