Does anyone have a Doberman/Chow mix?

I need a photo of what they look like, as well as what their personality is. Also, how much is a Pure Breed Chow? Could you get a chow at a Animal Shelter?

HI i got a pure breed chow and never get a chow from a animal shelter cause u dont know if they have been abused and they can easily turn on you and chows are the type they are like pitts and once they bite u they dont let go they are sensitive animals. Otherwise they are very good protective dogs to have. My chow dont like any thing eye level to her face like small children or else she will attack ur face and mine dont like alot of jumping around and being hyper cause every1 in my house is teenagers and they dont jump and stuff around her. i hope this helps you out!

I had a Chow mix and he was wonderful. However, he was mixed with a Border Collie (we think). Border Collies are fantastic dogs.

If you get a mix you never really know what you're going to end up with.

Try going to www.petfinder.com, type your zip code and breed preference. All the available Chow, Chow mixes in your area will show up. Pictures and all.

Please study the breed before you buy! Chows have earned themselves a NASTY reputation!

There is not and never will be enough money in the entire WORLD to make me own a Chow or any Chow mix. I think they are worse than pitbulls by a long shot!

I have a Chow yellow lab mix.
Chows tend to have a very dominant personality.
Unless you are an experienced owner, I'd pick a less dominant breed if I were you.
Trust me.
Somebody is going to get bit!
