It's studio. One, Michael Chiarello (sp?), might be cooking from his home, but the rest are cooking from studio.

Im sure most of them are studio sets, but a few make me wonder.
Giadda could be shot from home...1.so many patio shots with family and different friends. 2.Her grandfather is Dino DeLaurentis the big shot movie maker, I'm sure that the oversized kitchen could be lit properly by this family.
Paula Dean pretty sure its home. Owning a very profitable restaurant 1.she could afford the refit to the dining area. 2. She has an out door porch and yard, but she could be on a part of the studio with an external wall. 3.She has a bunch of shots in 'hometown' locations, but they could travel.
If I could afford it...I would avoid New York or wherever TFN is based.
Michael Chiarello
Probably home. The outdoor shots, the deck, and the ep I saw today had a full living room and a working fireplace. Kinda elaborate for a set. He cooked with the fireplace.
Alton Brown
Hopefully a studio..an oven and refrigerator with front and BACK door...spooky.
Emril
Has to be a studio. I wouldnt have that many people in my house...in bleecher seating.
Rachel
Studio. Mentioned when it was built the crew had to lower the counter because it was too high.
And Tyler just raids peoples kitchens.

Of courseit is the studio, and the color of the capsicum may be the same that you put on your green car.
The food may not be cooked by the chef itself and may be the work of a team.Just like Batman bashing 50 of the Jokers goons in a hollywood movie, the cooking show is somewhat that real, yes the recipe sure is genuine,at least that is what is expected.

I know Paula Deen(her newer shows since she's been married), Michael Chiarello, and Ina Garten cook in their own homes. They are in Georgia, Napa, CA, and the Hamptons respectively) I think Tyler's Ultimate show is in his kitchen in his apartment in New York.
Sandra Lee's is supposed to be between her house and her sisters.
Paula's earlier shows were in a house kitchen that was rented.
Giada rents a new house in the L.A. area each season just for her shows. RR's 30 minute meals is studio, How To Boil Water is studio, and of course Emeril's is a studio in Chelsea Market.
Alton Brown I'm not sure if that's his house in Georgia or a rental for the show.

Different studios.
Good Eats is filmed in Georgia, Rachel Ray's 30 minute cooking show in New York.
If you keep you eyes open and check the Food Network websites you can find behind the scene episodes.
