It depends if the wrapper got ripped while he was eating it, if it stayed shut, then I'm pretty sure he'll poop it all out, but it might hurt to digest it, so I would take him to a vet just to make sure it will be fine. If the wrappper did break while he was eating, you better take him to a vet fast, it depends on how big your dog is, and how big the candy bar is, like for example if your dog is this little Chiwawah that ate a king sized fastbreak, then that would be big trouble, if it's a huge lab, like 80 pounds or something, and he ate the bite sized mini kind, he should be ok. Some dogs are allergic to chocolate, some aren't but either way, it's really bad for them, if he acts different than usual something from that might be bugging him.
So either way, my advice would be to take him to a vet, unless he acts liek nothing ever happened to him, but some dogs don't show it, so idk, it's your choice, my advice.;D You should check where he bit you, that's actually kind've a funy story, sorry, I hadn't read the extra details part, but so yea, it's your choice.

The best answer for this question it to call the vet and see what they say. In some of those bars there are things that are not good for anmials> I would call let the vet know what kind and see what they say about the wrapper as well. Always better to be safe then sorry!
Good Luck

locate the quantity for the interior of sight vet emergency!! in any different case, positioned salt in the dogs's mouth. One or 2 spoons. this could bring about vomiting after a couple of minutes. you additionally can use hydrogen peroxide yet i'm uncertain how lots. yet nonetheless, this is largely a non everlasting answer if the dogs has eaten lots of it. flow to the vet afterwards. do no longer difficulty, my dad is a vet and it somewhat is what he oftentimes does whilst a dogs eats chocolate. do exactly no longer wait too long till now you flow and it is often advantageous :)

He will most likely poop it out, but just in case, bring to the vet. If the bar has chocolate in it, then immediatley GO TO THE VET! The wrapper could close up his digestive system so it is best to GO TO THE VET

If he starts acting weird or gets sick, I would take him to the vet. I'm sure he'll be fine, though, so don't worry. Dogs eat crazy stuff all the time, trust me, I know. I've had dogs eat crazy things before, such as wind chimes. And he was perfectly fine. At least he ate actual food instead of glass. However, if it has chocolate in it, call your vet and take your pup in to make sure he's alright.

I know that chocolate is supposed to be poisonous but my dogs eat it sometimes and never have any reaction, except that they want more. I think it gets them high, not poisoned.
PS. If you must "smack" your animal; (there are more effective controls) do not hit the spine or tailbone, you could do serious damage, even with light patting.

The dog should not be biting you. If there was no chocolate in it, don't worry about it. The wrapper will come out.

yes, he most likely will poop it out, the bad thing, you have to watch and make sure he does,, if he doesnt, take him to a vet, as it can cause a blockage in his intestines, also, there is the chocolate factor, some say its poison to dogs, though i have seen a few eat small amounts with no problems

Oh , the joys of puppy hood! I wouldn't worry unless it was made of pure chocolate. You really need to train your dog to release or at least let you into its mouth without biting. I just pry open my dogs mouth and reach inside, she doesn't like it, too bad. Your the boss, not him! If he bites you, discipline him!
