Scotch. Each of the different areas of Scotland have their own distinctive flavors and methods. Besides, it is more fun to travel to Scotland and visit the Whisky Heritage Museum and the Scoth trail than to go to Kentucky.

Technically, Jack is a bourbon - same sourmash recipe for distillation, same aging in barrels, only difference, Jack is filtered through charcoal prior to bottling, Kentucky bourbon is not.

I'll take Knob Creek, straight up, sipped slowly

I've been drinking for a long time and scotch is about the best.
I prefer Singlemalt Scotch specially lowland but I sometimes try
highland scotch. I search for quality,taste and so forth.

Jack Daniel's is a Tenn. whiskey. Scotch is smootth distinct aged flavor. A nice single malt highland. Oban....and I wonder why my wife call me an alcoholic.

They are both wiskeys and I prefer Scotch.
