We are not interested in a cruise. My kids are teens so it needs to entertain us all! What's the best thing to do in the place you suggest?

St Maarten is the best place in the world and in the middle of the Caribbean. It is really worth it.

you are very much mistaken...i just got back from a Caribbean cruise with a family of 8(2 senior citizens, 3 adults, 3 teens) we all had a blast!...they cater immensely to ALL age groups...especially royal Caribbean as it is focused toward family rather than just adults...i would definitely try it out...actually this same family has been on 2 cruises once with 3 additional children under 10 and they all had a great time

if you still dont want to do a cruise i would recommend island hopping with planes...or if you want one place to stay, try st Thomas

http://www.beaches.com I've heard is a family oriented vacation spot.

Also, I was on a Royal Caribbean cruise and saw plenty of activities for all ages.

I have been to barbados, it was amazing and would recommend it! There's so much to do there, great places to visit and trips to go on that will suit everyone. The people are lovely, it's safe and the weather is great.
I do agree that a cruise is a good idea, this is something I would like to do. But if that's not for you then try Barbados!

why you are not interested in a cruise???? i think is the best option. There you can meet a lot of people, even teens. Is cheaper and you can have a lot of fun.
If you really don't want it, i suggest you dominican republic (it's very beatiful); aruba (great landscapes) and panamá (good beaches, cheap shopping)
