to curl your hair with a curling iron twice a week? I like my hair curly, it's naturally straight. I've heard that it will damage the hair. are there other ways of curling your hair besides using an iron or braiding it?

Perhaps this questions was asked in the "Singles & Dating" section because the asker conciders her hair an issue for going on dates. Why does it matter? Please stop making people feel dumb for no reason. The only one who looks ignorant are the people bashing others for silly reasons.
You can consider steam curlers or a steam curling iron. Steam is supposed to be better for your hair. However, my hair is thick and steam doesn't take well for me. In that case, I would talk to a beautician for advise.

Well..That's weird! I have curly hair and everyone I know with curls don't like them..We all want to have straight hair..! The iron will sure make some damage while time passes..I don't know how you can make curls,I just have them naturaly..

It is not too bad to do it twice a week. If you want curls and not use an iron get curlers and use a little mousse when you roll them. That should give you the curls without the heat.

ok your qestion is in the wrong section, it needs to be under beauty, hair...ok but i'll give u an answer since u used 5 points...it is bad but i cant think of any other ways, try some moisterizing cream...hope this heps, try reposting ur question in the right category so u get better answers

Put hot rollers in your hair take about 30 min or you can sleep with just regular rollers over night

yes you can scrunch it with a gel or mousse and that will make it curly they sell special gels and mousses to scrunch hair at your local salon or wherever you can buy shampoo
