Atheist - Denying the existence of a deity.
Spirituality - Being connected in some way to life outside of yourself.
My definition of a spiritual atheist would be that we all are connected to everything, and that never goes away. Just as all matter gets broken down to basic elements, all "life" somehow breaks down but never goes away.

It's all a matter of perspective.
Some are jumping onto the idea of "Quantum entanglement" as a scientific demonstration that "everything is connected". But to do that they have to push the concept far beyond what has actually been seen, or proposed, (As far as I understand it.)
It's all going to depend on what you define as spiritual.
Values higher than simple materialism, Aesthetics? Ethics?
Or an actual non-physical existence beyond the perception of phsics? A "beyond?"
I'm definitely an atheist. But spiritual? Possibly.

Yes. I believe we go back to the Sun when we die or our anti matter soul lives in a anti matter world.

There are strong and weak atheists. If you deny the existence of a diety, you are an atheist. If you acknowledge that there could be one, you are a weak atheist/agnostic.

I am not trying to put down your beliefs ... but isn't it sad for you -- thinking there is no after life? and when u die you die? To me that seems quite depressing.

.I believe that would make you an Agnostic. you don't believe in God per sey but somewhere there is a higher being.

Define "spiritual". I doubt I'm spiritual but I'm unsure what is meant by it. I meditate sometimes... is that spiritual? I dunno. I just avoid the phrase entirely.
