yeah fudgie still watching the big aeroplanes sometimes its better than watching st.mirren.lol

I was in a tiny restaurant in rural Italy a few years ago when St Mirren weren't even in the top flight. The ancient couple who ran it didn't speak a word of English, so I told them in italian I was from Scotland and (tongue in cheek) we have the best football team in the world. The old man's face lit up, he threw his arms around me and said:
"Si, si, Saint Meeerrren!"

Supporters of ANY club outwith the Oaf Firm have a certain respect for each other.
St.Mirren spend within their means and do not owe anything to ignorance and hate to get the turnstyles clicking.
