for Christmas by bf's mom gave me a gift....how do I thank her. My bf already told her I said thanks...now what?

Well depending on how your relationship is, you could give her a simple call and say Thanks for the Present personally. I think that should be enough.

Get out a pen and a piece of paper. Now write her a thank you note. Put it in an envelope. Address and stamp it. Then put it in the mail. It is polite and the best way to show your thanks.

Send her a note or call her on the phone. Emailing a thank you is tacky.
