I agree with everyone who said your vet may not be the right one for your cat. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I have met a few who have no expertise with cats but are great with dogs, or horses, or cattle, or even birds. Ask cat owning friends who they go to.
In addition, I will add that over the years, I have had 2 chronic pukers who never seemed to have anything wrong with them and nothing seemed to change things. Their body weight stayed perfect as well as their coats and litter box habits. Go figure....they were both prissy and shy. The first one lived to 18, I've still got the other and she is 8. I've concluded that some are pukers and others are not. I watch where I step and keep the paper towels handy.
Good luck, I'ld still try to be sure there wasn't a medical problem by checking with a vet recommended for cats, but you might just have a puker. Sorry, it's better than medical problems though.

The best advice to give- Trade vets.
It seems as if this vet doesn't know your pet very well. Maybe you could get a fresh new start for your vet by taking her to a new vet, even if it means driving half an hour or more.
Tell the new vet all about your kitten.
Also, if that doesn't work, try going to the adoption center or animal shelter where you got your kitty from.
They could've left out some information about what may happen to the kitten.
Also ask the animal shelter/adoption center about the cat's family, so that way you will be aware of anything else that could happen.
One last thing- Make sure your cat has gotten all its shots for its age.
Hope that helps!
Good luck!
God bless!

Time for a new vet. Is it hair that he is thowing up? If it is then kitty has hair balls give Laxatone. If not then she really needs to see a different vet. I am thinking that she could have a blockage. Make sure kitty is using the litter box both ways. If she is getting older your 4-pawed friend maybe sensitive to food. My cat does this. He cannot eat grocery store brand food.

My best advice, switch vets. The person you have as a vet right now must be pretty bad if they can't tell the difference between a boy and a girl. And obviously, something is wrong with your cat. I'd contact a new vet immediately.

If she does have alot of fur she maybe throwing up hairballs and she could possibly have sensitative stomach also......if you are considering changing her food do so with caution. Dont just change her food gradually mix the new (dry food) in with the old one so this will not upset her stomach and she will get us to it. Change her water at least twice a day if you can. Also grooming her daily helps ALOT...

I'd say you need to go find a new veteranarian. Sometimes, one vet isn't going to know everything that's going on and since it seems like this one is especially dumb, you're going to want to get more opinions. Cat problems can be costly, but the earlier you catch them, the better it is. If you love your cat, don't stop taking her to different vets until you get a satisfactory answer. Good luck.

sounds like its time to get a new vet and some cat food for sensitive stomachs. Science diet makes a sensitive stomach cat food. Keep her inside as well.

Is your cat throwing up hairballs perhaps? they look like pieces of turd. Regular vomit just looks like vomit, it is quite easy to to tell the difference. If this is the case the solution is simple. Get hairball control food and brush your kitty to get rid of excess hair.

Your kitty needs a veterinary work up, not just a physical exam. She should have bloodwork, xrays, possible ultrasound. Find a new vet today.

do the same thing you would do if it was a child (or yourself) and the problem is not getting any better......get a second opinion. find another vet.....if this one doesn't know the gender difference between a boy and a girl, there is a problem!
