It depends on what state you are in and also if it is a local or a federal bank. You could anywhere from 7 to 30 years. It would also be determined by if you hurt anyone while robbing the bank or not. I know it is going to sound kind of stupid, but why would it make a difference if you had a getaway driver or not. If thry catch you, you are both going to go to prison anyway. Oh, by the way... Don't do it. It's not worth going to prison or having a b*tthole buddy once you get there or had you not concidered that yet?

Because it is a federally insured institution, robbing a bank is a federal offense; you would serve 15 years (no time off for good behaviour) in a federal corrections facility, alonside some of the most violent, vicious and conscience-less people in the world. Think about it, then do not do it. Is $3500 (the average take in a stick-up type robbery) worth 15 years of your life?

My guess is that wether you rob the Bank with a gun or pencil it is still considered a felony and punishable by law with prison time. If you used a pencil my guess is that some physhiatric treatment might be ordered followed by prison time. My guess, a few years.

It depends on what state you live in, and how you did it. You're looking at a minimum of about 5, and a maximum of 25... if you commit no violent acts whatsoever. So much as a threat; and you could get life in some places. Have fun!

If you indicate to those that you are robbing that you have a weapon, whether true or not, you would be charged and sentenced the same as if you displayed a real weapon. Having or not having an accomplice would make no difference.

Life, if it was up to me, theft is theft even without a getaway driver.
