Catch him in the act and then put him outside. If you don't catch him, sop up the pee on a paper towel and put it outside with the dog, then show the dog where it should pee.
The best thing I found for my dog was taking it to the back door, asking if it had to pee, then giving the speak command. Once she spoke I took her out and told her, GO PEE PEE! I wouldn't let her back in until she went, then I would praise her like crazy.
Good Luck!!!

Good lord, have some patience! Can you potty train a child in a few days?
Crate train, get the dog on a feeding, outside, playtime and naptime routine that fits your schedule. PAY ATTENTION to the dog after he eats. When he starts to act like he's going to pee pick him up and carry him outside. When he does his thing praise him. Then bring him inside. You may have to spend a good amount of time outside with him. He'll catch on though. Don't use the weewee pads, they're disgusting.
Sheesh!! What did you expect? You got a PUPPY.
Look, you can take my advice or leave it, I was sharing my own experiences (all my dogs are housebroken by the way). I was trying to help. But since you sent me an e-mail insulting me I thought I would try to clear things up....publicly. You stated yourself that it is "just a little puppy". Read your question....you sound desperate. Did you really think that this wouldn't happen? Thought you could wave a magic wand and make your puppy perfect? Housebreaking a puppy takes time. You should have researched that before you got the thing. Learn the basics before acquiring the pet.

Stop rubbing his nose in it - that doesn't help - neither does spanking.
When our dog would have an accident, we would clap loudly and say, "NO" sternly - this does not mean screaming.
Crate training is the best and get your new puppy on a schedule as quickly as possible. This means that you'll need to train yourself as well to walk him around the same time daily as well as getting his feeding schedule laid out.
When you take your puppy out and he potties, make sure to reward him with both praise and a treat. I found that by giving our dog special treats only when he pottied (bisquits) really helped.

Alot of people confine thier puppies to a certain room or put them in a kennel while in the house. I didn't want to do that so it took longer to train ours. You need to get your puppy outside often. When you take him outside make sure he goes.....you have to witness it. Then praise him like crazy. Then bring him in right away so that he learns the reason he is out there is to do his job. Make absolutely sure he goes shortly before bedtime. It takes time and patience.

ok well first you should take him outside about 5 minutes after he eats and take him to the place where you could like him/her to do their buisness...and then when they do praise him/her and bring them inside...you should already have a secure crate with newspapers in it just in case....do this everyday and i'm sure you will have a house trained puppy....hope this helps!

Maybe you should ask the workers at the pet store, or kennel where you got him from. I'm sure they can help you. Whatever you do, stop rubbing his nose in it! That's disgusting and obviously doesn't work.

First STOP rubbing his nose in it this does not teach him anything. Do not yell at him or hit him. You need to crate train him. This is the easiest way to get him housetrained.

One thing you should never do is rub a dog nose in their business, it can damage their nose. Paper train it, it would be more logical and in the end your puppy will get there in the end.
