Since I am a Bible believer, the Bible says we are in a spiritual war between Righteousness (Jesus) and unrighteousness (devil). If our spiritual eyes were opened we would be amazed to see the demons we rub elbows with on a daily basis. Most people are spiritually dead in their trespasses and sins, and are totally unconcerned with their spiritual condition, or think the DEVIL is some kind of joke. Sadly, they will find out the truth too late.

Before this life or after?

Before: I believe we pre-existed with our Heavenly Father and Mother, that we are all spirit children of them. We chose to come to this earth to gain body, have mortal experiences, and prove ourselves worthy to enter back into our Father's presence.

After: Before the millenium and final judgement, I believe when we die, our spirit goes to either "paradise" or "prison" depending on our righteousness in this life. There spirits can be taught the gospel and accept or reject it - that is why we as LDS perform by proxy saving ordinances for the dead - and there will await the millenium and the final judgement. Then we will all be in whatever Kingdom we attained glory to - Celestial, Terrestrial, or Telestial.

Spirit is subconscious splashing with the conscious to stimulate reality the way you perceive it. Illusion is that spirit world doesn't exist. But in my belief we have inner and outer boundaries as with the universe has its boundaries, so lets look at spiritual space required when confronted with objects. A blind person feels this boundary and avoids disturbing objects as with life it is said they can feel the strength of your energy spirit.

I believe that we originate from the spiritual or "non-physical" plane and exist there on some level, in the fullness of our "entities" and that the personality that exists here in the physical dimension is merely a fragment of our whole selves. I believe that we choose to incarnate and experience a physical existence and that we have much more power to control the direction of our lives than we realize. I believe that we attract our experiences to ourselves via the power of our thoughts, emotions, beliefs, words and actions. I feel if we pay deliberate attention to making these positive then we attract more positive experiences to our lives. If we don't pay attention to them and they are negative they attract negativity to ourselves in one form or another.

I'd like to believe that there is no such thing, but there is too much going on to overlook it. I'm a Buddhist, and from what I've learned there is a world other than what we can [usually] see. I'm a believer!

There's never been any testable, verifiable evidence of any kind that there *is* a spirit world...

So I can't have a view on something that doesn't exist :)
