From a Ex-marine,my hat is off to you joining the family.Once a Marine ,Always a Marine..Diet start cutting out all carbs, replace with good carbs from fruit..Eat 4-5 meals a day smaller portions..measure and weigh portions so you know.It don't take long get use to it..keep running ,push-ups,crunches,sit-ups,burpies-marines call bends and thrust.(ask if dont know,i explain). You will be doing 500 at time.Push-ups hold positions for 15 min. you will be doing longer but this prepare you.Basically help prepare you cause 1st phase is break down(I could do18 pull-ups,after 1st phase breakdown 2) then 2nd phase build you,(muscle memory before the break down), 3rd phase, you become Americas finest..any question ask..Good Luck!!!

I'm sorry but you can't get this done in a couple of months. First, find out what your highest weight can be to join the Marines. The recruiter can tell you.

Next, armed with your new weight goal and you desire to serve, HIT THE GYM! Run! Lift! Lifting is going to be VIP in getting the weight off. Drink 2 quarts of water a day, MINIMUM.

Do not eat white flour...white bread, white rice, white sugars. You want a sandwich then eat it on a low carb tortilla.

DO NOT STOP EATING! DO NOT EVER STOP EATING! The only thing that will accomplish is depressing your metabolism and causing you to gain weight. Eat 6 small meals a day.

Your goal is a noble one, best wishes!

If you are under the age of 25 your numbers should be fine. The Idea is not to necessary lose weight but to improve your scores. Running is always good but you should also build lean muscle. Eat a diet rich in protein and lift weights (lower weight at high Reps.) coupling that with running will significantly improve your numbers in all areas.

Son they are going to eat you alive!!! Discipline!!! get to know that word. Get to a Gym find a personal Trainer (And not some New age get a colon cleansing aromatherapy type, Get a mean hard real Trainer) And push yourself as hard as you have ever pushed. Because if you don't they are going to destroy your *** in the CORPS.
I spent 3 years as a Drill Sargent with the U.S.Army and 5 years with the S.O.G as a weapons Specialist. It's all about Discipline.
Good Luck Your gonna need it

Eat healthy food....cut out pop, sweets, refined sugars such as white bread and white pasta.

Start eating lean meats such as skinless boneless chicken and fish...broil, bake, or grill these with herbs & other seasonings.

Eat fresh veggies, fruits, and only whole grain breads & pastas.

Keep running, running, running & doing your sit-ups, push ups etc. Sounds like you are working out good but just eating way too many calories every day.

Stick to only 3-4 oz of lean meat per meal, 3-4oz of fresh veggies, & no more than 1/2 cup of grains. Snack on 10 nuts between meals or air popped pop corn. Also add a salad w/low fat dressing before your meal to fill you up more.

Good LUCK!

Divide you meals up to 4-6 meal a day. Lower your total caloric intake to 1800-2000 daily. Train intensely 3-4 days a week, do some power style lifting. But do your runs/bike 4-5 times a week. Change up mileage to not go in to plateau.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc…. These toxins enter our bodies and get stored in our fat cells. To shrink the fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. My skin has improved from the cleansing. You can get more info at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647. It is pricey but worth it! I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss. Give it a try and good luck! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com
