What makes your religion different from all the others? Why should I follow your religion? Please give me good reasons for following your religion and rejecting all others. Here are a few guidelines:

-If you quote from a religious text, please demonstrate the validity of this text. Your religion is not correct simply because its holy book says it is correct. This is circular reasoning.

-If your religion claims to have made a prophecy and then later fulfilled it, please prove that (a) it has happened, and (b) it is not self-fulfilling.

-Threatening me with hellfire is pointless, because other religions also threaten nonbelievers with hellfire, thus making your religion no different from any other.

-Saying I just need to have faith is unconvincing, because other religions claim this as well.

-In short, making assertions without proof is not convincing and a waste of my time and your time. Please back up your claims with hard evidence.

Well, everybody's just making blind assertions. Anybody could do that. What I'm asking is this: why should I follow your religion?

There is no way I can "prove" my faith to you. Nor can any other of like faith to me. The proof you seek can only come from God. That is between you and God. I can help you start on the path to God, if you are serious about begining that walk. But you must walk it alone. The length of the path is as long, or as short, as you make it. At the end of the path is a door...figurativly, in your mind/heart... you will have to open that door. What happens when you do will depend on you... you will learn The Truth... or you will not. You are free to accept or reject what you find..... God is waiting for you.

If you have any question concerning The True Christian Faith you may email me... one honest question receives one honest answer to the best of my ability.

I don't follow any religion, maybe you should not either.

I follow the teachings of Jesus from a book called the course in miracles.

No quotes, No prophecy, no threats, no hell fire.

It says faith is not necessary and it makes few if any outlandish assertions.

It simply teaches you to have a close personal relationship with God, free of religious dogma or nonsense.

It tells you to think for yourself and believe nothing just because someone tells you that you have to.

It says that it is just one of many valid ways back to God.

It works for me.

No one can convince you to be any religion. You must seek God in your own heart. Christianity simply states that you are sinful in the eyes of God and need a Savior. Christ came to this world to die for you and now He is seated in the Heavenly realm with God the Father. If you accept Him into your Heart by faith, then you become a child of God. He promises to stick closer than a brother with you throughout your life and take you to Heaven when you die. Did I convince you? No, probably not. However, the Holy Spirit can now work in your heart and mind. God Bless you and may you find the truth and the love of God this year.

in case you have been reported christian did you learn the bible? i'm agnostic, yet i've got studied the bible and understand that there are a number of untamed and way off interpretations going around. Like Adam and Eve being the 1st people is incorrect... how did their toddlers choose for different halves in a land that already has a acceptance? i think of you may attempt to seek for fact approximately issues from the source of it and not bypass via what people say by using fact the telephone sport ruins fact.

No I cannot convince you that my religion is right for you, and I have no right to try to. Only you can decided which religion is right for you just as I did for me. If you ask me about my faith I will be happy to answer questions about it. If you tell me you want to learn more about my faith then I will try to recommend some books to read. But the choice is still yours to make.

If you are looking for a faith to follow I hope you find it and it makes you happy.

Bright Blessings )O(

I see so far noone has been able to answer your question. I must say that I am a christain (southern baptist to be exact) and I think the point of your question is more to see if people can back up thier beliefs. And obiviously people cannot. Because if someone was looking for guidence and ask me the questions you just asked me I would fail to be a good testiment for the Lord. It is easy to go with the flow but alot of us me included, believe what we believe, and can not back it up with "proof". I know my God has worked wonders for me in my life. But honestly, I can not answer your question and that saddens me, and i am sure that the Lord wishes I could defend my beliefs a little better.

Phil 2:2 be of the same mind, united in heart, thinking one thing
Jn 17:17-23 I pray that they may be one, as we are one
Rom 12:5 we, though many, are one body in Christ

St Cyprian 250 AD "God is one and Christ is one, and one is His Church, and the faith is one, and His people welded together be the glue of concord into a solid unity of body. Unity cannot be rent asunder, not can the one body of the Church, through the division of its structure, be divided into separate pieces".

Ok let's see. ALLAH is the one and only God, the one who created everything in the universe. He is the one who chose Islam as mankind's religion. You can get up to 4 wives in Islam if you can treat them justly and equally. Otherwise you should have one. Your children belong to you. Your wife can not go out without your permission. The Qur'an is protected by ALLAH and has not and can never be changed. Islam gets you to Jinnah providing you never stray from the correct path and keep the faith. You are required to pray 5 times a day. Islam is a peaceful religion. Women are diamonds and treated like queens in Islam. Women are highly respected in Islam especially mothers. Children are to take care of their parents when the parents are old.

I can tell you what "false religion is and what true religion is" True Religion exists.

What is false religion?

Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?
The fault lies, not with all religion, but with “false” religion.

False Religion...MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?

False Religion...SPREADS FALSE DOCTRINE: Most religions teach that the soul or spirit is some invisible part of a human that survives the death of the physical body. However, the Bible teaches a different doctrine. “The soul that is sinning, it itself will die.” Ezekiel 18:4 Jesus taught that the dead will be resurrected, an unnecessary action if humans had an immortal soul. Does your religion teach that the soul does not die?

False Religion...TOLERATES IMMORAL SEX: Church groups ordain gay and lesbian members of the clergy. What, though, does the Bible teach? It plainly states: “Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men.” 1 Cor. 6:9,10 Do you know of religions that condone immoral sex?

How to identify true religion.

True Religion...PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display “love among themselves.” Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.

True Religion...TRUSTS GOD'S WORD: Instead of teaching “tradition” and “commands of men as doctrines,” true religion bases its doctrine on God's Word, the Bible

True Religion...STRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to “love their wives as their own bodies,” helps wives to develop “deep respect for their husbands,” and teaches children to “be obedient to their parents.”

True Religion is available, search for it.

No one can convince you. It is up to you to get the facts and find the answers for yourself. My particular religious beliefs have helped me and can help you only if you are willing to study it. We have the RCIA in the Catholic Church. It is a process of study and discussion where the interested person is free to come and go as they wish.
God be with you in your search.
