An undergraduate has no longer carried out the 1st 4 years of school, and has as a result no longer "graduated" and gained a bachelors degree. A graduate student has graduated, and has a bachelors degree, and has persevered or long previous back to varsity to pursue a masters or doctorate. popping out of highschool, you would be utilising as an undergraduate.

An undergraduate student is working towards either a bachelors degree or an associates degree.

Graduate students have already completed a bachelors degree and are working on either a Masters or PHD.

A good site to look at different schools:

An undergraduate is a student without a bachelor degree. A graduate student is one with a bachelors and furthering his/her education (i.e. Masters and/or PhD).

Out of high school, you are an undergraduate.

Happy new year.

You are an undergraduate until you complete your baccalaureate degree. When you study for your master's or phd, you are a graduate student. So when you apply from high school, you will become an undergraduate.

Undergraduate students are students seeking either an Associates or Bachelors Degree.

Graduate students are students (with a Bachelors Degree already) seeking a Masters Degree or Doctorate (Ph.D.)

Right after high school if you're pursuing studies somewhere, you'll be doing your graduation course. Pursuing doesn't means that you've completed and you're a graduate now. Its best known as pursuing graduation. If you're not pursuing any course after your high school then you're an undergraduate. You would still be an undergraduate while you're pursuing graduation, but then you wont say that i'm undergraduate alone....rather you will say that i'm an undergraduate pursuing graduation.

Undergraduate is someone who has not yet attained a Bachelor's degree. Graduate is someone who HAS attained a Bachelor's degree, and is continuing education toward a Master's or Doctorate.

Out of high school, you will be considered undergraduate.

you will be an undergrad.

Undergraduate means that you have not graduated from college, and you do not have a graduate degree, like a BA (bachelor of Arts) or BS (bachelor of science). A graduate student is one that already has a graduate degree and is trying to get a post-graduate degree like a masters degree or a Phd.

This is just a guess, but I think you're an undergraduate your first and second years, and a graduate student from then on.
