cats love to be the center of attention, try petting her or playing w/ her before you sit down to the computer. she may not be overally getting enough attention from you.

and within laptop show another cat
if ur cat is male show her female cat or viceversa

he does this because you are paying attention to the computer and not him! my cat does it too....she does is with just about everything, though. If I am reading a book or writing a letter, she has to come lay right on top of it!

If you spend a lot of time on the computer, this is where she wants to be....near you. If I change the sheets on my bed , my cat jumps up and wants to get under the sheets. It,s their way of showing you affection.
