What color bath rugs and shower curtain can I use for my bathroom if there are cream floors and 2 colors of tan tiles on the walls (a lt tan and a more tinted brownish tan)? I am a female living on my own so I am not opposed to pinks, etc.

There's a color called "Rejuvenate" by Sherwin Williams.
Check out there website:

Click on visualizer and select an interior room to try your bathroom color combination with the color I choose. It might surprise you, I think it looks incredible and very unpredictable.

i would do cream shower curtains(it makes ur bathroom appear bigger) a brownish tan rug is a very good choice because it is neutral which is in keeping with the color scheme u have, also it hides soil & hair better. Or try a sage green curtain & rug, (that is still semi-neutral)

The shower curtain should be lite colored to allow light in while taking a shower, unless you happen to have a light close by. dark brown might work for rugs. Actually if you could find some of some color samples at a carpet outlet or paint store it might be helpful. It will depend mostly upon your tastes.

Those are very neutral colors, so you can use just about anything. My own preference would be for a blue or a green.

Find the shower curtain you like first, then coordinate the bath mats and towels to the curtain.

You didn't say if it's a cool or warmish tan.....maybe you can't tell. Try playing with www.behr.com and see if you can recreate the color on their color mixing sections. The you can try other colors with it. Just pretend you are mixing wall colors......

Anyway, if it's warmish, the corals, yes pinks and warmish greens would work. If it's cool or bluish tan, the try cool bluish green such as turquoise, light blue. I'm stay around from red, yellow or grey. Brown would be so boring as would cream unless you are trying for a monchromatic bathroom......nay, that's not fun.

I use a white shower curtain (it happens to have green and brown palm trees embroidered on it) so it's not dark in the shower. Then my towells are green and brown. I also have beige tile and cream walls.

I've always used navy blue in my bathrooms - similar setup. Blue hides water pretty well and while I guess it's a manly color I just think it looks nice. You might consider lighter green - ocean green - if you want to have something not as sharp.

My brother and sis-in law's b-room is like a smoky blue and chocolate brown. It is really nice and both would go well with the colors in your b-room. A deep red would look awesome as well.

You could go bland and get cream or tan...or go bold with dark vibrant colors such as: deep red, navy blue or emerald green.
