It's pretty messed up to break up a relationship. How old are you? Popularity is so overrated.
The best thing I can think of would be to ignore him, don't talk to him no matter what, and try to get yourself interested in another guy. There are plenty guys out there you just have to look. Go with your friends to the mall and check out the guys. Oh! Better yet, go into a video game store or something where guys tend to hang out. If you see one you like ask him a question about a particular video game or something, like if you have a younger family member you can buy something for use it as an excuse to talk to him.
Just get your mind on another guy quickly because you don't want to be known as the B**** who steals other girls' men.

Don't ask him out. It'll set a bad precident in your life going after other men that are involved in relationships. You will only set yourself up for a life of frustration as the other woman. Or worse, when you are older you may find some married guy attractive and go after him and destroy a family. Find a guy that isn't involved. Wait until he breaks up with Samantha, then make your move.
Love is such a strong word and is used so lightly. Love is based on respect, attraction, and committment. You have a physical attraction and a crush on him. Love signifies alot more than that.

You're not supposed to be thinkin about asking him out in the first place- as you mentioned- he has a gurl, there's not much you can do about that situation. all u can do is wait until they break up. i mean if you ask him out right now, chances are he will say no because for goodness sake he's dating the MOST popular gurl in school. you might be at luck if the only reason he's dating her in the first place is because she's popular, and maybe he'll fall in love with YOU and realize how much better you are then his gurl. but the best advice i can give u is to wait, dont try to ask out another gurl's boyfriend cause then u will only end up getting yourself into trouble and i dont think u want any trouble with the most popular gurl in school, am i right?

Yo your in high school still so screw it be blunt and just ask him guys are filled with emtions when there that age and most of the time there dating a girl just to have the garunted lay at the end of the day there are the few who are actually truly in love but just remember that you will be hated by this girl and she can prolly make you life kinda bad at school if she is the "most popualr" so becarfull

some people say it's the bitchy thing to do to try and take another girl's guy. i call it being a "dirty mistress." if he's willing to stray from her for you... then he wasnt really hers to begin with, so it shouldnt be that big of a deal. just talk and flirt and see how he acts...then start hanging out with him one on one.... then after a while tell him you have feelings for him and if he flips out... tell him it's not a big deal if he doesnt have feelings back that you're happy just being friends. good luck!
