they are sins. I mean I don't think God really cares about that.

Christian theology actually teaches that one is morally bound to obey the valid and ethical laws of the state to which one is a citizen (give unto caesar what is caesar's). As such, running a stop sign or speeding are ipso facto sins because they violate the laws of a nation... laws which God has commanded us to follow. At the same time, they are venial sins of a minor nature and non lethal to our faith. To make a final note, we are under moral obligation to resist any unethical or non-valid law which MIGHT be passed by our nation.

Here is the problem. You are thinking of yourself. Shouldn’t I be able to do what I please? While you’re thinking of self, what you want, you may completely miss the little deaf girl crossing the street who doesn’t hear your car coming and thinks that the stop sign means that people will think.

Any time we put our own wants and desires first we risk hurting others.

These aren't sins, but if you are a decent human being, you will stop for safety's sake.

Otherwise, I hope my kids and I never live near you or where you drive.
