Ow, I feel your pain love.

It's your upper jaw. They had it opened for so long and such. I got my tonsils out a few years ago and my jaw still bugs me, which is basically where my ear is. Try a warm cloth.

Maybe you should go back to the doc and make sure there is no infection from the operation. Tonsils and ear pain are very connected. take an ibuprophen for the pain, there is ibuprophen in advil and some other over the counter stuff. It takes down the swelling and will relieve the pain.

Yes, it has something to do with it. You should report your discomfort to you doctor. Also, a heating pad or warm cloth on it will ease the pain somewhat. The doctor likely gave you something for pain following the surgery, right? If it's not enough, you definitely need to let the doctor know. He/she may also want to check your ears in case of infection.

Best Wishes,

Sue

It probably is to do with the tonsilectomy, but you need it looking at by a doctor as you mat have a secondary infection which has affected your ears. Warmth and painkillers will help until you can get medical attention;

Try heat...a heating pad on your ear might help if it's an ear infection. It won't cure the problem but it'll feel better.
