Well I am a hair dresser, and you dont tip on the products but use you best judgement on the time and how the cut comes out!

Depends on the service. I struggle with tipping all around myself. You could go with the standard 20% of you bill. That is what I try to follow. However, I use this amount as a base and adjust it accordingly. If service was great, I add a few dollars. If service was poor, I subtract a few dollars.
However, my brother starts out at $10.00 regardless. Then he adds and subtracts depending on the service he gets. For example, if the waitress forgets his extra side of toast, he subtracts a dollar. I don't believe in this system for people make mistakes and not usually to be rude. It is all based on personal preference.

I'd do like 15 to 20% the cost of the cut. Dont include price of any purchased products, only services.

10 per cent of the price for the cut. Don't tip on the price of the products.

Depends on how much you like the cut if you really like it leave $4 or up If you really are unsure leave just a couple of bucks it also changes if they blow dry or style your hair ior if they sent you out with wet hair with out asking you if you would like it blow dried then i would not leave not very much but of they spent the extra time a couple extra bucks would not hurt

Where I live the standard tip is $2.00 for a cut and up to $5.00 if you are having other stuff done. It depends on your area.
