I know this sounds weired but it's what our vet had us to for our cocker spaniel. We used Monistat cream that you get for yeast infections. Just rub some on the inside of the ear. It worked for my dog. Good luck!

No remedies, but you could try something for humans. Lots of the treatments for animals are the same, different packaging, ie antibiotics, but maybe next time your at the vets ask for some extra ointment so you have something if shes in pain during the weekend.

My saint gets ear infections due to allergies. If this is the case with your dog try getting her allergy shots usually every 6 weeks. The shots have helped our dog. My saint weights 170lbs and we give him 1 adult benadryl per the doctors recommendation. Your dog probable is not as big so I would try 1/2 a pill. We also wash his ears out regularly with a ear wash that you can find at tractor supply or a pet store.
Hope this helps!!!!

My boss's dog gets ear infections (it's caused from yeast, yes yeast, in the dogs ear) which is from allergies. You can feed him a half of a baby benedryl pill and he'll be OK. It should save you lots of money and time wasted at the vets office. Good luck!!

My male bichon gets infections since his eardrum was ruptured as a pup. His vet gave us drops for him, and we also give him antibiotics when his ears are visibly inflames. We have also had to give him steroids at times. Unfortunately they tend to paw their ears when they hurt, making it worse for them. Put an elizabethan collar on after ointment or drops, just for alittle while until the meds take effect.

well my dog used to get earaches and we put peroxide in his ears and it made him better. Just hold the dog down put some in and then let them get up and shake it off after you held them down for at least 10 seconds. this may sound a little mean but it takes away the pain, usually. I can not be certain that it works for every dog but give it a try!:)

I have not heard of anything proven for a dog :( If you know she is in pain or uncomfortable try and take her mind off of it by playing with her. It wont get rid of the problem but it might make her happier!
