It depends on the dreams. If they're not good dreams I'll wake up feeling really tired from lack of good sleep but if the dreams are pleasing to the mind, then I usually wake up feeling relaxed and in a good mood.

Dreams happen when the problem-solving part of your mind is working on unsolved problems you took to bed with you. It works, and tells you the story in symbols that won't wake you up. This can make you feel tired in the morning because it seemed your mind raced all night. Exhausting feeling.

At times it is a good thing but other times it just upsets me. I never feel anymore tired I just wake up. What I hate is when you wake up thing the dream will end and then when you go back to sleep it starts right where you left off.

You need to fall into a deep sleep then come to a lighter level of sleep before you dream. Therefore you should feel better in the morning as you have had quite a few spells of deep sleep.
