Why are some guys reluctant to make steady eye-contact?.... when communicating, or speaking, but make more eye-contact when the woman is speaking, and most guys are directly looking at a womans mouth....i have had this many times, but isn't that supposed to be a sign of the guy wanting to mate with the woman, or have sex with the woman, when guys do this to me, i actually find this off putting....so what does it really mean when a guy looks at a woman's mouth? and why dony guys make steady eye-contact unless the woman is speaking?

OK we tend to look at your mouth because listening to you ladies waffle on about crap wares us down. So we have this little secret. It is called a built in mute button. When you talk we shut off and don't listen. We can catch the general rambling by lip reading. When the lips stop moving that is our signal to look you quickly in the eye and agree. Get it.

wel I do make eye contact when i speak, but also look at the girls mouth. Not sure what i do more..next time i will try to notice that :)

Well, some guys don't know how to...they're afraid of rejection or they're not comfortable with themselves. At least they're not staring at your breasts the whole time.
