Anyone know what a "Tarhonnist" is? found it in family tree from the 1760's in England.? Its an occupation.

A relative was listed as having the occupation of "tarhonnist" The dates are around 1764-1768. I've tried all kinds of dictionaries from the time and such, to no avail! Ugh! It would just be cool to have the unanswerable question answered.
