I agree with the knot. Also, just try searching for wedding to do lists online, and you'll be able to find ones that give you a time frame of when you should have things done. You should get started as soon as possible though, because like others, we started planning 10 months before our wedding, and found most things booked, over a year in advance. We had to search for alternative locations for receptions, and even the actual ceremony. You might not get your first pick of the place you want, but you'll be able to find something that will work out just as wonderful for you, if you look hard enough!

you are just about SOL. you should have had this all planned a long time ago. the first thing you need to do is find a reception site because those are the first things to get reserved. i would suggest that if you plan on having a formal wedding that you move the date back. there is no way that you are going to be able to get everything planned in 3 months. well, you can plan it, but everywhere you want is going to be taken. people book places at least a year in advance.

It's great! Once you register (it's free). It will generate a wedding checklist for you telling you what needs to get done now and in the coming months. I found this extremely helpful as a guideline.
And don't stress. It's a wedding. It's supposed to be fun. Enjoy and Best Wishes!

Wow...with 3 months to go you're not going to be able to be as picky like you would if there was a year or more.
Try www.weddingchannel.com to help you prioratize what needs to get done...I would strongly recommend hiring a wedding planner also. That person will be able to help you a GREAT deal, which is what you're going to need.

Unless it's in your back yard, your nuts. We had to book the church, one year in advance and we still couldn't get the exact date we wanted. We got the weekend before and my hall is completely booked now and our wedding is Nov 3, 2007.
