I hate when doctors do that, LOL.
anyways, it's probably eczema (that's what I'm guessing) because i saw a show on rosacea and everyone said that that didn't hurt, that the worst part was being so red in the face. now, you can have eczema on your face and it can get red (the lighter you are the redder it seems to be, too).
there are also other diseases and non-skin related symptoms that could make it something else entirely (like atopic dermatis)
go to the doctor (anyone - one of those two or a third) and tell them EVERY ache and pain.

ps - i've heard from a dermatologist turned psychologist that people with skin problems "weep through their skin" so you may have an anxiety beyond your skin one that is actually causing this to flair up. consider dealing with that (if you have something like that)

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Best Eczema Treatment?

I have had eczema; it starts as small blisters itchy then break and skin can crack etc ; I have used Avon Silicone glove whenever I start to see an outbreak ; it works to clear, etc; I have recommended it to over 10 people and the same result - if it is this , try it can't hurt

Eczema is on your body and rarely on the face. If it does show on the face it will only be on your eyelids or ears. Rosacea will show on the cheeks, nose, T-zone. You may have both.
