I wouldn't use them, and I am fairly easy going about stuff like that. If the shrimp were completely defrosted especially, throw them out. If there were still ice crystals in them, they may be ok. Nothing worse than bad fish!!

Unfortunately just to be on the safe side, you should discard the shrimp. When you defrost meat (especially seafood!) and then re-freeze it, you are risking contracting food poisoning because of the bacteria that grows when the food is defrosted.

NEVER defrost and then refreeze ANYTHING! When you refreeze, you refreeze the bacteria along with it!
In the future, when you defrost, COOK IMMEDIATELY!!

You should have cooked them once they were defrosted---but as soon as you defrost them now--they need to be cooked...quickly.If they smell foul,don't eat or cook them---throw them out.

if it completley defrosted then no.. but you can probably keep it in the refridgerator for a day or two.. goodluck.. eat fast!<3
