Potential health problems of the Shih Tzu can include:
Entropion (the inversion, or turning inward, of the border of the eyelid against the eyeball) and Kidney disorder. I have heard nothing about the one you are stating...I would definately contact your vet. Sounds like it could be a cyst, type of cancer, or quite possibly just a sweat gland. No, that's not normal! Sounds like a tumor or abcess of some sort. GO TO THE VET!!!

Check to see if he has an overative saliva gland. This condition can be treated by a veterinarian.

Get that checked out. My dog has one too. I think that the vet can get the fluid out.

its a cyst, either cut it out with a pocket knife, or take him to the vet. i would recomend the vet cause it could be cancerous and if you do the pocket knife thing, you will likely kill him.
