Master Cleanse diet is when you have mix lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and water and drink it 6-8 times a day instead of meals.

The Grapefruit diet is having 8 oz grapefruit juice with your 3 certain meals that they recommend you to eat.

Well it all depend on whether or not oyu are just detoxing your body or wanting to loose weight.

The master Cleanse is for detoxification purposes, and the grapefruit diet is for weight loss, Try em both just not at the same time, do the Master cleanse first to clean your body of all the toxins it carries around , for about 10 days .

*****Remember when you detox your body though, you loose weight as well. Because you are ridding your body of waste and toxins******

Then do the grapefruit diet if you are wanting to loose weight. for the next ten days.

Be sure and drink plenty of water daily or you will dehydrate, regardless of whether or not you are dieting, We as people do not drink enough water and we don't realize that that is the best way to detox and feel more full when we eat. What we eat plays the biggest part in our weight management. If we put crappy food in our bodies instead of nutritious foods we will gain weight rapidly. Most especially if we put that crap food in and don't exercise..

So remember Exercise(Im not saying exercise every single day, tho you can if you like) and drink tons of water and you will be fine. Also it doesn't hurt to allow your body to rest from time to time, That means Fasting. I know it is hard to do bUt if you really wanna be feel and live happy it is a sacrfice you ahve to make. Never dry fast for more than 5 days, If you fast water or fresh organic juice fast, Buy the fruits and veggies you are juicing and juice them your self, or go to Trader Joes or whole foods they ahvea great selection, Kinda expensive but better than HEB or Ralphs where they use pesticides and other chemicals to make the food better.

One more tip try to get a Massage atleast once a week or twice a month, it helps to relieve stress, Stress is one of the things that tend to make us eat more or more unhealthy. Reduce stress by getting a Massage.

Neither diet is recommmended. You need to eat healthy but decrease your calorie intake. Use a notebook to keep track of every bite of food or fluid you take in for a week and then see how that compares to the number of calories you should be eating for your height, weight and age. You need to burn off more calories than you take in in order to lose weight. Those quick fix diets are only temporary because if you don't modify your eating habits the weight all comes back.
