i didnt have sex with this girl that i like because i like her too much and i was affraid that if we had sex it would just be sex for her and nothing more... am i an idiot?

Dude the guy in me is saying, YES, you are a stupid dumb @#$%, are you gay!!!? But then the gentle man in me says no you did the right thing. But now to fix it,you must go to her and explain why you rejected her and let her know how you feel. Let her know that she means more to you than a night of sex and you do not want her to think that, that is all you want. Now she will either blow you off because all she wants is sex or she will be so taken back by what you said that she will love you long time in and out the bedroom.

I think that you are a wonderful guy and I also think that you should actually let her know how you feel and why you did not.
It might allow her to see a different side of you
No I don't think your an idiot, as you have stronger feelings than just sex for her. That was really nice and very different from a reaction from other guys might be.
It really might be a good idea though to let her know the reason why. She may thing that you don't like her at all.
Sex means more to you and I have to say I am proud to hear it.

No you're not. It's better not to have sex too soon with people you really like. Women especially should be careful of this. If a girl is willing to sleep with me right away then I tend to think she's easy and have less respect for her. I wouldn't say it's fair but that is just how it is. I prefer women that are not easy. I'm not sure how women see it but I'd wait a bit.
Or maybe the fact that she is willing to have sex with you so soon means she doesn't see you as a long term possibilty.

yes, you made a mistake. Sounds like you have some wrong ideas about what sex is. One of the things that defies teh logic of polite society is that women don't want a guy to be respectful in this category.
You should have no guilt whatsoever about sex with a single, willing woman.

if you guys truely like each other, then sex will only enhance your relationship. if u r afraid that she will only think about sex, then u dont really confidence wutsoever. do u like the girl that u dont have confidence for? but in the end, being holy isnt a perfect way to deal with girls nowadays, is it?
