I was with this guy that I'd been seeing, at a bar/restaurant. He introduced me to his friend & said "don't be (feel) intimidated by her" So is he saying he's feeling intimidated by me? What could be the reasons? Is he just saying he's insecure himself?

Some guys get so used to a particular type of woman, that when they become attracted to someone they're not used to, they become intimidated by her; not knowing how to approach her or what will make her notice him. I've been to several outings and events, where a guy would stare at me, but never approach me, or try and hold a conversation with me. But every five minutes, he's looking at me, smiling at me or what have you. Also, if you give the impression that your not for bullshit and have high expectations from a male, he may be insecure on that issue and that could be another reason. But that is how most men miss their wife!

well if the girls is very forcefull and opiniated some guys get intimidated. also if youre like super smart this might scare a few guys. also cold, emotionless girls scare guys just the same as heated overpassionate girls do. or it was just a way of saying he is impressed.

I dont think he is intimidated but he must feel that you intimidate others either by your beauty or your persona
