I've taken to eating a lime every day for the vitamin C content, and as I like sharp tastes. However, as they're quite acidic, is this any worse for the teeth than eating any other fruit? This is presuming, of course, that all normal dental hygiene is carried out.

Be sure to wait at least 15 minutes after eating them to brush. Rinse your mouth with plain water immediately to flush away acid. If you brush too soon while the acid is still fresh on your teeth, you tend to get more enamel erosion due to acid+ friction from brushing. Be sure to use fluoride paste, mouthwashes, and get your fluoride treatments at the dentist every 6 months.

I've got an idea, get some vitamin C drops or some One A Day vitamins and take them with a Minute Maid Lime fruit juice.

Eating lemons and/or limes can do damage to your teeth if eaten everyday. Maybe try drinking the juice of the fruit instead of eating the pulp. If you did this through a straw you would bypass your teeth completely.

Good luck! :)
