Do you know anyone who treats their dog better than their closest family members?

I have an aunt that did that. Her dog attacked me when I was 4 and bit off my bottom lip. When my mom confronted her (after I was stitched up), my aunt blamed me and since I didn't want to be around the dog, my aunt never invited me over again.

~Yes! He had that disorder where he always thought he was sick, can't think of the name, sorry. Anyhow, his dog was the same, he kept taking his dog to the vet.

He was a good sized dog, and he not only had the dog sleep in his bed, but he put his arm around him! Yes, he cuddled his dog. I asked a friend if this was normal, knowing it wasn't, and he asked what the dogs name was. I said Fred and he said yes, there is definitely a problem! That's the gospel truth about that dude and his dog.

He got mad because I put a blanket over my parakeet for squawking too much. I only did this temporarily to calm him down.

I asked him if there was a car wreck and someone (human) was hurt and an animal was too, who would he help and he said the animal! I know, he's not all there. You asked... lol~

Yep,me. and here is why: my pups work just as hard as I do, they have saved me as well as some of our critters more than once, they guard and protect me.They never lie to me, and if they let me down, it is my fault for not having trained or communicated with them properly. If I am in a sour mood, they either leave me be or comfort me. When I am in a great mood, they are ready to celebrate it with me! When my feet are cold, I can always count on a pup to warm them for me. They listen better than most people do, and never deliberately cause me angst or pain. They don't talk back very much, and NEVER roll their eyes at me.
They don't care if I sing off key or a have a beer too many and none of them scold if I miss church. They have never approached me in anger, only to be fed or to help me work. They almost always come when I call, and even when exhausted, won't say quit until the last bit is done. They work at all hours and in all weather. They never call in sick, and when they are, they accept your help without complaint. They never yell at you or accuse you of anything. They do not judge, but love you for who you are, warts and all. They LISTEN when you need an ear, and you know it won't be spoken of at the post office in the morning.
They are unconditional love and unconditional helpmates.
And when you stumble and do something mean or stupid, they are instantly forgiving and ready to be your friend again.
You find me a human like that, and I will treat them like I treat my dogs! lol! - dd

That would be me and I'm not one bit ashamed to admit it.
My dogs have more sense than most of my family members do.They don't try to borrow money they'll never return.They don't cause trouble in my personal life and in a certain case they are much cleaner.Also my dogs have never treated me as tho they are better than me.

People say I do, I don't really think I do,but my dogs are my babies and I really don't care what people think!! These dogs will love me unconditionally till the end of their time. People will judge you, like you one day and the next, maybe not. Oh well ,who cares, not me.
