ok so my exs prom is gonna come up before the school yr is done. we are talkin now n everything is great. im 2 yrs older than him. wen it was time for my prom i didnt go..i was with him at the time. im not really into that kinda thing i dont like dancing n i get really shy around him n i dont really kno any of his friends. i jsut think its gonan be a whole awkward situation. so his is comin up n i kno hes gonna want me to go wit him. i have been wit him for 2 yrs but im still shy around him thats my own personal issue. y am i so shy even after 2 yrs? i dont get it. anyway so the prom i want to go but im scared botu the whole awkward feelin n the dancing. also ima be like 2 yrs older than everyone. i love him very much n i dont want him to take someone else if i say no. wat do i do to get over the shyness?? how do i oversome this so that i can go wit him without feelin awkward n shy?? real answers plz!!

Everyone feel awkward at prom. I went to three! And I felt nervous and awkward at every single one....at first. Then as the night progesses you relax a little more and you start to realize you're not the only one! The night is meant for you and him...not just his friends. It will be something you will never forget! It's kinda like playing Cinderella for a night. Have fun with it! And him!

1st of all I think you need to see someone about your shyness issues. Its a rare thing to be shy around someone youve been with for two years. Im sure you have friends. You need to stop seeing everyone as strangers and see them as like they were your own friends. Once you start to treat everyone like youve known them forever, they will do the same to you. God speed.

YES well i don't know the guy but, if u like him nothing else matters. B yourself and do what you like to do to have fun! If you like him then go for it! I've heard the prom is really fun!
