Actually I am in Shanghai in a bank and we are connected to Tokio. We are affected in that way that I the internet is really quite slow from times to times. I think the really slow time will just be a few days untill they open other ports

According to Taiwanese Telecommunication Authority they're expecting fully repaired within three weeks. At the mean time there would be sporadic connection since they're utilizing private-owned cables across Pacific.

Hello. The news said it may take up to three weeks. They have to repair underwater cables. I think it'll be OK in a couple of days since communications are crucial for doing business.
