Mars is getting warmer as is the earth. the polar ice caps on both are melting. Is mars getting warmer because the few diesel engines on the mars rovers are warming . is it human interfernce on both planets. or is global warming just a part of nature?

Just mention global warming and the tinfoil hat folks come out of the woodwork. One of them wanted us to listen to some UN report coming out soon. The UN is the most useless lying bunch of jerks ever known in human existence. Any report from them would have to be bogus. They won't even report on all their "peacekeepers" raping girls in the Sudan.

Thanks for the question though. It's always fun to listen to the "chicken little" crowd telling us we're all going to die because we abused our planet. Talk about guilt trips. Why are they so bent on feeling guilty? Especially on faulty science like what Gore showed on his bogus movie.

There is scientific proof that the sun is getting hotter, but I won't blame anyone for that. The kooks can feel guilty if they like.

I'm a firm believer that global warming is just a hoax, and any "scientific" evidence thrown in your face is just a part of nature.

How long have humans been reliably tracking detailed weather data globally? My guess is it doesn't exceed 100 years. That's not very long where nature is concerned.

Think about a lot of insects that have lifespans of 24 hours or less. When fall approaches and the temperature drops, such a change could encompass several dozen generations. You and I both know this drop as seasons, because we live longer and can put that length of time in perspective. But the insects, if they were like humans, could be hitting the panic button like humans do.

The next time someone argues for global warming, ask to see what raw data has caused them to reach those conclusions. I'm pretty sure nobody will be able to readily produce that information for you.

This is not a natural cycle in global warming. The point where we are today did not happen in the last 650.000 years. There is even an iceage between that time and now.
Unfortunately we have already crossed the point where it is irreversible, see the UN scientific report as soon as it will be published in full, or the advances of information that some of those 2500 scientists are unveiling last days.
I wonder how some people in US still doubt. You guys last years have lived some important proofs in your own country of what climate change means: hurricanes, water floods, etc. (as all living beings are suffering worldwide). True, few and small proofs yet in comparison with the future. But you never had so many so strong in so short time, it should be enough to open some eyes. Anyway, probably misinformation is not a fault of regular citizens.

If you wish to receive grant money for climate research, do you think that you'll get a cheque if you say," I need the grant, as I think that I can prove that the figures that the current paradigm is based upon are wrong" ? The great environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. There is still no proven causative link between the amount of Co2 in the atmosphere, and an increase in global temperatures. The WWWF photographs of the polar bears swimming were taken in the Arctic summer; when the ice cap partially melts, as they couldn't get up to photograph in the winter. The ice was too thick! The East-Anglian uni research figures. "Oh! The figures don't match our expectations. Oh well. Keep quiet. Because we know that we are right." When the belief, and the faith is more important than squarely facing the legitimate doubts of a lot of non grant-supported scientists, science has been superceded by religious zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully said." I pray thee, in the bowels of Christ, consider that thou mayest be wrong."

Global warming is not just a hoax, it is real. Just take for example the extreme weather conditions that we have experienced over the last few years. Never in our history (on record) have we ever had such an assult from mother nature ie all the hurricanes and typhones. Also, the fact that both of our polar ice caps are melting away faster than ever predicted. Anyone who says global warming is just a hoax is someone who is making money from destroying the environment and they want to place doubt in your mind so we continue using their resources (whatever they are) and making them rich. If you want a really good detailed explaination of global warming and its impact on the environment watch the movie "an inconvenient truth" . So to answer your question i'd say its 98% human interference.

The sky is falling too.. we have too little information gathered over to short of time to declare global warming as a fact. Weather changes have been going on as long as we have recorded history.. IE the mini ice ages and science has documented much greater extremes beyond that. One large volcanic eruption can produce more particulates than anything we can produce. Should we manage our planet better, of course, its the only one we have. Have we damaged it beyond that of natures ability to do so? Not a chance. Now rather than hugging trees, lets try some population control.

Don't give into the hype of global warming. There are no diesel engines on mars. The polar ice caps are not going to melt and leave us underwater. Its nothing more than fear mongering environmentalist garbage. Our small contribution to environmental events pales in comparison to the earth's own environmental contributions, volcanic eruptions, forest fires caused by lightning and other natural causes, earthquakes, etc.

Yes we are having some effect upon the environment and we are doing something about it. All of this hype just add fuel to the fire and creates emotional reactions and suckers more people into the fold each day. It is absolutely ludicrous to think that we are doing nothing to stop, slow, or reverse what we have done. This hype is all predicated upon that very belief. Don't believe the hype.

Global warming. We're screwing up our planet.. But we'll learn when we face the ice age again. Oh, if you don't know anything about Global Warming, then don't bother answering this. Basically when the ice caps melt, the ocean gets a whole lot bigger, throws weather patterns off balance, and causes an ice age. It's not going to get hotter, stupid.

Good grief, diesel engines? The Rovers are battery-powered, dude! I don't really give a fig if Earth's polar ice caps are melting - it happens that the Arctic tundra is melting. In Siberia, there's untold miles of tundra. The ground there contains massive amounts of methane, which when released through melting, will rapidly escalate global warming to the point of irreversability. This will extinguish humankind, as well as most other life on the planet - and we may have already passed the point where this process can be reversed.
Can you say "we done screwed ourselfs"?

How the ice caps are melting? do you know, dont agree with those people who are saying that global warming and world's temperature is getting higher? first you have to get proof of how they got that ice caps are melting.
