there could be all kinds of reasons, being fed up or sad or disliking yourself for something. for me, it feels like we get so easily tied up into the rhythm of new habits that they become part of ourselves - so ways of doing things day to day, or ways of feeling or thinking or behaving all become quickly fixed in our bodies, so it feels like who we are.
the challenge, as i see it, is recognising that theres a bit of us that can see beyond these ways of doing things, can be outside of the busy chatty mind or the day-to-day stuff. if there is this bit that is beyond the feeling, it cant be ALL of us.
at the end of the day, you cant be a new person, you are you and noone, no single human in time or space is the same. best bet is probably to try to recognise the feeling and recognise with it the tiredness or frustration or hatred thats going on in your body.
work out what kind of person youd like to be -
what do you want to start your days doing?
whats most important to you?
what would you like to look back at this year and feel proud of?
and then try to start doing some of those things - even small steps. because habits form quickly, and you can change yourself by making new habits consciously - the first three steps are always the hardest, so write something down or tell a friend or stick it to your door and do it for 5 straight days....and good luck
