If it's still damp pour salt over the patch and then vacuum, use vanish carpet stain remover to finish the job

i know it sounds daft "white wine " it counteracts the others grapes" try it nothing to loose (it works)

salt to soak up the wine
then soda watewr to clear up the stain

if you've only just spilt it, try white wine to get it out.

depends on what it's on, but LOC (liquid organic cleaner) or Oxyclean works for me.
