~I'm very sorry that your cat is sick. My cat was 10 and quit eating, then couldn't stand up. She would fall in her urine. She was with my mom and she FINALLY took her to the vet and he said it was just old age.
The fact that your cat lived that long is amazing, just like mine. I hope the vet finds something he can fix. If not, try to find comfort in knowing you cat lived a long life.
Good luck~

First how old is your cat. If I had a cat that was losing weight and stopped eating I would get it to the vet.

Without seeing the cat or knowing a little about it's background, there is no way to say what is wrong with it. You need to take the cat to a vet ASAP, because when a cat starts acting sick, it is really really sick.

Take him to the vet to have a blood test and tests in general. Appetite loss can indicate several health problems, from simple tooth problems to serious renal ones. There is no way we can tell you what is wrong, but it is time to have a check-up by the vet!
