Jesus said "Allaha" almost what Muslims say "Allah"........"Allah" therefore is the Arabic word used by Arabic-speaking Christians, Muslims, and Jews as the word for God. We can hear its counterpart in the other two semitic languages -- Aramaic (Jesus called God "Allaha") and Hebrew (Ellohim). It makes no more sense to say "Muslims worship a god called Allah" than to say "The French worship a god called Dieu" or "The Spanish worship a god called Dios.",,,,,,

Your question rambles and doesn't make much sense, but I'll see if I can answer what the heck you were asking.
During Ramadan ALL muslims (except for the very old, sick, travelling long distances pregnant, nursing, and children under 13) are required to fast. Those mentioned must make up days (not the old or terminally ill though, they are to feed poor people in relation to how many days of fasting they can't do).
To the guy beating off watching porn during Ramadan, his fast would be invalid since that is a sin any time of the year, most certainly during Ramadan. Thinking about sex is not a sin however, because this is human nature.
So yes, muslims fast during ramadan, and they are also supposed to think of the less fortunate who are forced to fast due to not having enough food, not out of religious obligation. The person you cite as an example, is acting hypocritical and their situation doesn't make sense. I do agree with that.

Because Allah is the true God. The Popes since ages have confirmed that Muslims worship the same One Eternal God, The Creator and Sustainer of the Worlds.
(841) “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.” (Catholic Catechism, pgs. 242, 243)
Muslims recognise the Torah and Gospels of Jesus and Psalms of David to be Books of God, the previous revelations, making Christians and Jews the People of the Book (Ahlul Kitab).
Regarding Ramadan, no sexual activities are allowed, be it sexual intercourse, masturbation, and so forth. Pertaining watching porn, thinking about sex or anything else evil for that matter will cause the fasting of that particular person to be of no or less good rewards. The Prophet said that there are many who fast but they will only get hunger and thirst, implying the negative effects of committing evil and irreligious sinful actions during the period of the fasting.
Hope my simple explanation makes sense to you. May your conscience and reason help you to respect Muslims as believers and servants of God, besides Christians and Jews.
Happy Holidays.
Peace and Love.

What he is doing is absolutely wrong, looking at it from both a spiritual, psychologically and moralistic view. To give you an idea of what is Ramadan, a good Muslim has to follow the five pillars to be 'good': 1) Faith | 2) Prayer | 3) The 'Zakat' (Charity) 4) The Fast | 5) Pilgrimage (Hajj)
With a person praying 5 times a day and remembering to be honesty, truthful and good this is only multiplied in piousness during Ramadan. What he is doing is wrong, Porn as psychologists have researched causes people to be more addressing, it also acts as a gateway to acceptance that the things performed or done as normal and also it demeans women. You can most certainly talk to a person online or in person, but he needs to show respect by lowering his gaze, keeping his hands to himself and treating the person with dignity. Its a shame he does not understand how much harm he causes to himself by being like this, ignorance is not bliss and he should study more thoroughly than making comments you passed along to us to answer.

Your question appears to be more about a restriction of Islam than the believe in a particular diety. In most religions, Islam included, there are many restrictions or taboos, certian foods, certain acts. It is common to see controls of sexual behavior in religious thought. Most religions, like most societies, prefer that persons engaging in sexual intercourse be married. This restriction is primarily to ensure that any children from such a union will have parents and support. In Islam, pre-marital or extramarital sex is generally forbidden. The restraint of Ramadan would then be directed towards married individuals. I would have to guess that the person you are asking about considers online talking to be a sexual act and feels that he should restrict it until nightime hours during this particular month. I doubt that there is a hidden agenda.

Of course it doesn't. Religious dogmas don't make sense. (For example, some Christians say you can't eat meat during Lent, but fish is OK -- both are living creatures, what's the difference?) It's more about sort of testing your will in the name of devotion to what you believe in.
As far as sex during Ramadan, the prohibition applies to married people, because unmarried people aren't supposed to have sex so that's wrong any time.

God call himself different names and among those, I am who I am, "Ehyeh asher Ehyeh", אהיה אשר אהיה, is the right one. The Bible never speaks of any religion but Christianity. We are not call to be followers of man but followers of Christ. We need to understand one thing clear. When God gave to Abraham a son through Sarah, if you know the story the servant got jealous of Sarah and so Sarah told Abraham to leave her. God said to Abraham i will blessed your inheritance and hers too. So why worry about which God is the true God if there is only ONE. The people separate not God. He can be divided.

no you cannot think about sex or watch porn movies especially when fasting. you shouldn't look at the people as examples for a religion. most people do not follow it correctly.
and about Allah being the true God, Allah means God. I read a post of a Christian that was saying that Jesus (pbuh) himself said Allah and not God when he prayed.

ALLAH is the TRUE GOD!!! ALLAH is the One and only creator who created everything. It applies to all Muslims male or female married or unmarried. Watching porn is a BIG sin in Islam.

Although I may have biased in the whole saying of it. But when I look at the two religions, I just can't simply see how Islam is taken so seriously. The fact is, Islam almost denies the sinful nature of man, and does little to deal with the fact that man do sin. If they are believers of Moses and etc, then would have to know sacrifices were made to deal with sin. Yet, where is their sacrifice today. Christianity has the sacrifice of Jesus, yet Islam has nothing.
Although I may not be totally informed about Islam, the little studying I have done, and questions I have asked, have never been able to deal with mans nature to sin. They almost have the thought that they are sinless in sense, which blows my mind.
